After I took my pc apart reassembled it , The motherboard doesn’t recognize my HDD whatsoever , And when I boot my pc up it shows me this message “No bootable device found” although the hdd is connected ,keep in mind that my Hdd worked just fine before i took my pc apart
Any ideas what’s causing this problem?

Did you properly ground yourself before/while disassembling the computer?

Reseat the connectors on the drive side and motherboard side if possible, ensure it is securely connected.

I disassembled the laptop again looking wether or not there is an Hdd cable or a sata cable not locked in place and I found nothing , I have no idea what to do ,The hdd contains a lot of my stuff and I really need it to work again
Note : Before I dissembled the pc it used to power up right away but now I need to power it up several times Because it shuts down immediately, It never used to do that before , would that be a part of the problem ?

Edit : I’ve run a diagnostic test and it showed that my hdd isn’t installed even though it is , Keep in mine everything used to work just fine before i took the pc apart

Edit 2: I lost hope in getting this Hdd to work again, I have no idea of how to get my data out , And think the hdd broke and I need to replace it :(

Ok..you do not need to start 2 threads on the same subject.. I will delete the other thread.

Ok remove the battery after you disconnect the ac power. remove all of the external if any. Press power button for 10 secs. if any externals need connecting do so and leave battery out and just use the ac power to power the laptop back up.. What happens?

Adding to what veeg has said, you might also be able to connect the drive to another computer using an external drive bay. It's possible you broke or shifted a connector when you disassembled the unit, without being able to look at it this is only a guess.

Hdd is spinning and everything but can’t get recognized in BIOS whatsoever
