What you really need to do is get off this system and get a newer one before your identity get stolen.

What are all in ones that you were looking at.
I was going to go and get one today but i wanted to see if the K meleon would work. They had a regular comp for 369 but then i have to buy the monitor separate. What speed comp do i need to get? 4g, 6g, 8g? I dont think ican get there till monday now.

Is a regular comp as good as an all in one? Can even a person like me get it going? 13 years ago my friend helped. He could be an expert here, but he is dead now.

I dont have wifi, its going to have to be hooked into the cable from the ground.

Im just so worried. I have to have one with an ethernet connection. Right now the cable from the ground goes directly into my modem and then a separte cable goees from the modem to the computer. Will the cable i have now going from the modem to the comp fit the new comp? If not does that mean i cant get a new comp? The woman at walmart told me the comp doesnt come with a cable from the modem to the comp.

Im just so worried.
WHY
You need to slow down. You are posting question after question without giving anyone time to reply.
I personally do not like all in one computers. I find they are always slow. I have never seen one that performs well.
The person selling it even said that model is slow.

They had a regular comp
Do you mean like yours is, not an all in one just a box.
but then i have to buy the monitor separate.
No, you should be able to use your current monitor. You must have missed before when I asked for the make and model of your monitor.

This has nothing to do with computer speeds - more like wifi speeds - not needed in your case.

As above I think normal computer is better than an all in one. Just my opinion.

Yes, the size of the connection plug has not changed.
If someone could help me it would probably take 10 minutes.
it might only take 10 mins. However
We all try and help as soon as we can. This is a site where we all volunteer our time and most of us have work and family commitments.
So you can get a hand picking a new computer the big question is what is your budget

They said the 699 one was fast and the 399 one is slow. They told me i couldnt use my monitor because its not a flat screen but i am sure you are right. Thanks about the plug. I meant it would take 10 minute to hook it up if someone were here at my house to help. Yall do an awesome job and if i can i will happy to donate. i agree, i think something like i have might be best.

Again, i deeply appreciate everyone's help. Do you recommend any particualr model, like HP, or gateway or anything else?

You are missing the point.
What is your budget = how much do you want to spend.
What is the current make and model of your current monitor so we can find the connection method.

My budget is low so i would like to spend as little as possible. They a comp like mine for 369 but i cant remember what GB it was. It will be hard to go over $600. The monitor is a compaq FS7600. Serial num is CNC6382C95

On the back of your computer where is your current keyboard and mouse connected.
Where is your mouse and keyboard attached.

And the monitor make and model
Im sorry my eyesight is horrible so i am trying to read the small type with a magnifying glass. My keyboard and mouse plug in at the far bottom right, under the plug in for the monitor. No plugins are below the keyboard and mouse.

Ok we will assume the monitor only has VGA due to it's age.
Do you like your current keyboard because it is nice to use or would you prefer a new keyboard and mouse

The keyboard and mouse are fine but of course they are also 14 years old so i dont know if they could fail.
