Hey, so today I was updating my laptop drivers then my laptop just froze then I restarted it. When I restarted it I went into windows advance option then I just reset my computer. Then when I was resetting it then it was on the ASUS logo loading with the dots for a while. So, I shut it down and it won't boot fully.
I can't go into windows advance options and can go into windows. I can go into BIOS but I don't know what to do though. But it did give me a blue screen of death saying PNP driver watchdog but I'm not sure what it says.
I have an ASUS zenbook.

Help! Thank you

Try pressing the F9 key as soon as you see the ASUS logo on the screen then let us know what if anything happens.

So you never even got into any boot options, if no, have you ever wiped any recovery partition from the drive.

The Windows loading dots should be left as long as possible when you get them as it tends to be an update getting installed, only after being left for a half hour or more with no change should you consider there to be a problem.

No, I haven't wiped any recovery partition from the drive .
Do I just leave my computer on with the windows loading dots?
If I do I occasionally get a BSOD saying something like 'PNP driver watchdog'

Thanks

If you cannot get into boot options and you have never wiped the recovery partition assuming that you are doing the F9 key right it looks like the HDD is the issue.

The 'PNP driver watchdog' warning can be caused by a bad HDD, Windows being corrupt or malware infection, the fact that you cannot get into any boot recovery options again points more towards a HDD issue.

The F9 thing can just be a matter of timing sometimes and you may be better to either continually tap or hold down the F9 key when restarting the computer.
