My brand new PC build with only new components shows a yellow dram and CPU light when turned on. when first turned on the CPU light is on, then after a few seconds it switches to dram. I've tried reseating the RAM in different slots, reseating the CPU, unplugging and replugging power cables, using the reset switch, and I fear it could be because of a faulty component. Any ideas on what I should do?

Solved Yellow light on motherboard for dram AND cpu.

Sorry but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.
First and foremost, have these parts ever worked or is this a new build.
To be able to help you we will need you to post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM ( including the amount, number of sticks and speed ) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.

Sorry, I am new to PC building. No, none of the components for my PC have ever worked, and I haven't been able to boot it up yet. When I plug it into my monitor with HDMI, it says that my device doesn't have a signal. As for the parts, I am using an Intel Core i9-13900KF, a Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX ATX LGA1700 motherboard, Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) RAM, a RTX 4070 Founders Edition, and a be quiet! Dark Power 13 850W Titanium Certifed power supply. As for chipset drivers, I have not even been able to add Windows 10, because I haven't been able to get the PC to send a signal to my monitor.
In addition to the above;
Have you checked that the screen is connected to the add on GPU and not a video port on the MB, this is a very common mistake.
Have you checked that the GPU power connections correspond to one of the above.
What are you using for a screen, a dedicated computer screen or a TV.
Do you have a keyboard connected.

Yes, my screen is connected to my GPU HDMI port, and my GPU is using the supplied 2x PCIe 8-pin cable adapter. I am using a dedicated Dell 27 monitor, but i did not attempt to connect my keyboard yet. Does my PC need to be connected to a keyboard in order to connect properly? I didn't attempt to connect it yet because I'm under the impression that it wouldn't affect my PC's ability to send an HDMI signal, and I needed to get that resolved first so that I could actually use the keyboard. As for my RAM's speed, it is 5600 MT/s.
My RAM is DDR5, but as for grounding I'm now concerned I didn't ground myself properly. I never noticed a discharge, I kept my PC completely unplugged, the surfaces I was on were all hard, non-static surfaces, and I kept all my hardware in bags until I was ready to use it. However, I did not wear any anti-static wrist straps or use any matting, so I worry that I might have damaged something. Is there a way to tell if a component is damaged?
Ok ddr5 5 5600 is ok.
Power off.
Remove ram
insert 1 stick only into slot A2
Power on
Because you cannot get bios to tell the version.
MIGHT have to flash the bios
