So usually when I play a game, after some time (sometimes after 10 mins, sometimes after 1h)
my PC (specs at the end)decides to randomly freeze. Just like that. The screen is shown to me but the system, game and OS included is unresponsive. I am forced to do a BUTTON RESTART, which I hate cuz it can damage the CPU. I tried some solutions, but did not work.
I have in mind 4 things that might be faulty: RAM, GPU, Cooling or maybe drivers.
- I tried WIN+CTRL+SHIFT+B, still no response. Updated my drivers and nothing changed.
- My GPU, an RTX 2070 should not be the problem. It's a really got GPU but it's not out of the list. May be faulty because I experimented some crypto mining and oc. (On really short term tho, maybe maximum a day).
- I have an I9 10th gen as CPU with AIO cooling which I guess solves the overheating.
- My guess is RAM tho. I did a memory test included in Windows. But got no results, even after checking in the Event Viewer.
- I did a chkdsk to see if my files are corrupted or not, they aren't.
My case fans and the GPU fans seem to run always at max power and my PC commences to be quite loud. I cleaned my PC yesterday and removed all the dust.
Battlefield V, FIFA 22 and PC Building Simulator are the games that my PC crashed on. Did bot expect Pc Building Simulator to cause a crash...
