Hello! Recently i was thinking about my Older phone, a Samsung Galaxy S3, which i didn't use for a lot of years.
I'm thinking about a FULL RESET (Removing all data), like factory settings first.
After, i install a custom open source OS.

-What OS Should i download? (i heard something about ROM. It's very important.)
-Last time i checked, my phone was really infected (ads. etc.. Will the Factory Reset solve this?
-What should i be careful about?
-Is this a Good Idea?

Any tips and trick would help a lot

I'm not sure if i am going to do it, but i might.
