Solved Ram stick info help

Will do worst case scenario if I decide to just take the performance drop and buy a 16gb ram stick do you still think my games would run fine I’m seeing some articles and a lot of people saying it’s not the biggest effect I just don’t really see the point in spending over a hundred dollars and waiting all this time for an already refurbished motherboard when I’ll probably be wanting to fully upgrade in a year or two what would you recommend I do I just wanna be able to play the same stuff I was playing like fivem

Honest answer, 16GB will be no better than 8GB, there is only the likes of flight sims that actually use that much RAM and most games do not even utilise anywhere near 8GB, if you are going to stick with this MB, stick with 8GB of RAM.

Curious, you were willing to pay out for a new MB but not spend a couple of bucks on a USB thumbdrive to be able to test your RAM, bit of a no brainer really as you should always have a couple of such devices for creating a Windows ISO and recovery drive on.

I’m just not willing to waste the time buying a usb when I know it’s not the ram sticks that are broke I can just borrow from a friend if I ever really needed one which I will again once I get a new motherboard this situation just sucks
