On the install screen pick either 30 day trail or
Lite = free. I use the lite version

No need for apologies. Relax and have fun learning!
Tbh I am a bit upset right this minute. I have downloaded Agent R, then installed and downloaded the lite and installed and downloaded ...and so on.. I can't figure out how to use it. Well, in short I have had to contact their support to ask them to tell me how to use it after all this downloading and installing. I will have to get back to you when their support has told me what all this downloading and installing is all about (different names) and how I use it. Thank you so much for helping me. I will let you know when I have managed to do more installing and downloading and how to use it. Then I'll see if I can find a file.

On the page I gave you for Agent Ranck click on download - if you have done this do not do it again.

You then run the file and you should get this screen

Pick Lite and click ok.
On the last screen tick the box to run.
It will open to this

Hi, Thank you so much for continuing to help me. I was waiting for Agent Ransack support to get back, but a chap told me there is no support for the free lite program. When I did all that downloading and installing I couldn't figure out how to "run the program." I will go on there and see if I can figure it out. If I do then I will follow the instructions you have left me with. You are being so patient. I appreciate this more than I can say.

Hi! I did it. I discovered that the download/install situation is done, but you cannot open the file from there. I pressed the button on the desktop and a list of various things came up. One said "file locater pro." I clicked on that and the page came up that you showed me. I pressed the "lite" option and did as instructed. It took about 20 minutes, but "no file was found." I know I must be absolutely accurate about the words used, but I popped back here to see if I should run this program again with options other than C:\? I had better wait for advice in case I do something wrong. I may not get back immediately because I have medications to take in the afternoon that require injections and other gruesome whatnots. I can't believe you managed to get me this far.

I think the problem a lot of people like me have is what I call "assumed knowledge." I don't know if you know anything about vintage sewing patterns, but the early ones do not have a whole load of preliminary information on them. This is because they assume women from that period have been taught basic/intermediary sewing skills. Women later on down the decades probably do not have these basic sewing skills. They therefore miss all this "assumed knowledge." I think it is the same with computer/technical skills. I lack all the "assumed knowledge."

If you try to explain to younger people that my generation had no computers or mobile phones they look at you askance. We had a black and white television with three channels. The National Anthem played at midnight, the TV shut down, and everyone went to bed! While their brains were developing, they had mobile and computer technology, so their neural pathways are structured to understand the basic concepts. They build from there.

It is ironic that I am working to help (especially) young people to have knowledge previous generations would have had. Knowledge that can help them navigate life. There are so many that are struggling to make their way in life with no compass. Then when there is "advice" it seems to me to be either trying to convert them to this or that, and/or very contradictory or "space cadet-ty." I take a position, of course, but I do not impose it.

The other thing women my age do very well is talk too much, so I will shut off now, lol.

Hi. I've just seen this. I will give it a try.
I got to Firefox, clicked on three lines, got to downloads, I found what was always there, my photographs I had downloaded from Pixabay, Curiously, there was one video on there. I couldn't find any option to find Agent Ransack on the dropdown menu. I tried to get off Firefox and click on the FileLocator on the start menu where I found it before. I didn't know what to click on when I got there. Did I do something wrong?

Hi. I made sure I wrote down exactly what is there, as you showed me was important.

Local hard drives (C:\:D:\)
Windows (C:)
RECOVERY (D:)
DVD RW Drive (E:)
I suddenly see all these emojis. Bit confused, as I didn't put them in. I copied the details out exactly as they were written. Let me know if I have done something wrong by accident. Maybe I didn't leave as many spaces as I should have done. I will write it out again leaving more spaces, but bear in mind the way I wrote it first was exact.

Local hard drives ( C : \ : \ )
Windows ( C : )
RECOVERY ( D : )
DVD RW Drive ( E : )

I ran each one and they all said "no files/folders match that search criteria." I can hardly believe I can do one stupid thing and this happens. Have we run out of options, or is there still hope?
I'm not sure I know what you mean. I have all the options I wrote (weirdy emoji thing notwithstanding) and each one came back with that " no files etc."

no files on c and you only have one drive.
I cannot find any answer why doodly won't download again if you can see them on doodly.
What web browser are you using. e.g Microsoft edge, Firefox, Chrome etc.
Do you have more than 1 browser?
