g'day and welcome to the forums. 🙂

have you done a cold restart - turned the phone off completely and restarted?
do you get an error message?
what version of Android are you running?
is this a recent problem?

Hi and thank you for your welcome.

Cold restart didnt work.
I get a message - mobile device cannot be found.
Im running Android 10.

They cant find the phone. I get a message USB device could not be found in LG On-Screen Phone app and mobile device cannot be found in LG PC Suite.

See if this helps at all.

Might also see if LG support has any insight.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalled the software and or drivers for the phone?

Others may have more to suggest.

Phone is recognized by PC. I can see icon in File Explorer and browse files. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling
many times. Just this LG apps dont work.

Thanks for help. I dont have Media device (MTP) option. I have to enable this somehow.

Enable Developer Options In Android 10

  1. Head over to the Settings app of your device via the notification shade or app drawer.
  2. Scroll down and tap on ‘About phone.’
  3. Find an entry labeled ‘Build number.’ Keep on tapping until you see a prompt that says ‘You are now a developer!’. You will be prompted to enter your device’s unlock code (PIN/Pattern/Password) at this point.
  4. Voila! You are now a developer

Once Developer Mode is enabled, you'll see an addition in your settings menu called Developer options. Inside the developer options you'll find a toggle for the MTP enable/disable.

I enabled Developer Options and USB Debugging also. Under USB Settings i have File transfer, Midi and PTP available but no MTP.
Somewhere i read that MTP and File transfer is the same. It seems its Windows problem and not the phone.

Just to clarify that this is a new thing that has started and or you have never been able to access.

When the phone is connected and you swipe top to bottom what come up?

I was never able to access. When i swipe top to bottom i get two notifications, USB debugging connected and USB file transfer turned on.
