When you restart press F11 this should give you a boot menu
If you choose the drive will it boot
By chance did you have this connected when you tried to install windows on the 8TBIt's almost like the partition is missing a "boot from me" flag or code or something

You said in an earlier post that you tried to install windows on the drive.i even tried to install windows on the drive,
You said in an earlier post that you tried to install windows on the drive.
As per earlier post I mentioned that it could be because of 8tb.
However.
Do you have a usb drive you can use - Win 10 won't fit on a single layer dvd.
Windows should format the drive to GPT which will work with an 8tb drive as long as the cpu supports it.
I can't find a definite answer to that.
I have to go out for 15-30 minutes. When I come back. I will post steps to try a reinstall of windows on the 8tb drive if you have a flash drive we can use.
If you have removed the 1tb and put it back it does not make sense that it will not boot - strange things happen with computers.
Can you change the data cable on the 1 tb and see if it shows up when you press F11 on start up.
