    +1 on more users online. As more subscribers sign up the speed will reduce. What you could’ve done (if possible) is use their router in modem mode then used your router connected to theirs. That way if your router fails you’ll have the provider’s router as a backup.

    Have you run the in-place repair? That should fix the problem if Sfc & dism fails.

Try an in place repair by downloading the media creation tool, double clicking on the file to run it then choose install. follow the instructions & ensure keep everything/keep apps & files is automatically selected (if not then do not proceed)...

    Recovery options would be under the general Google account>Security options usually. I’d also recommend turning on 2 factor authentication & using an app for the log in codes.

    Log in to the account online & see if there are any rules set up to forward sent emails to a different address, also check for any unknown email addresses added as recovery options.
