Of the top of your head, do you know what that could be or heard of anything like it before?

no idea.
faulty adapter, incompatible driver version - not sure.

give the wireless a few days to prove itself.
if no issues, than let’s blame the NIC, then I would reconnect the ethernet, uninstall its current driver, let Windows Updates install what it thinks is correct.
if the issue returns, uninstall that Windows driver and this time get it manually from the motherboards website.
if still no luck, stop using the NIC adapter and get a PCIe network card.

Strange how everything else was fine except a few specific things that would give me connection issues.

This is the reason I asked about how they are connected.
Dothis with and without the cable.
You can be on two different networks - Yes off the one modem/router

Open the cmd prompt and either type or copy and paste

Either type or copy and paste what is in Blue. What is in Red is what you do e.g Enter (Press the Enter key)

ipconfig /all >“%userprofile%\desktop\ipconfig.txt” Enter

This should put a text file on your desktop. Please attach the file in your reply.

The information this gives cannot be used to hack your computer.

It is only the internal network address

Settings look correct.
As Bruce mentioned it could be a faulty nic
It could also be a faulty cable.
Or the port on the modem/router it is connected to.
