Program opening problem - previous help given

I suggest you look at this and move Docs,Pics, Downloads etc so the go to E: Drive

There is something wrong with this laptop and connectivity. Its practically a fresh install with the exceptions of a few installs, steam + 3 games and chrome. Thats it. My other more basic laptop has no issues despite it not being designed for gaming. Same on either chrome or edge.

In addition to what I showed you last night - this also happens and its a mirror image of really what brought me here in the first place to further discover space problems. I done actually use either of what these pages are for but its now the principle.

As I said my other laptop is fine when I need to get onto that particular site but for whatever reason this laptop gives me constant problems, for a long time it worked fine but then last month this same problem kept on happening.

while the following may be long shots I’ll grant you, I’d be doing the re-install of Windows again, but with a couple of minor tweaks.

[li]re-install back on the SSD 120GB drive but with the other drive disconnected. you’ll need to pull it out of the laptop. and yes, at 120GB it WILL need to be micro-managed, so a bigger drive would be recommended[/li][li]don’t put anything from the backups back on the drive until you run the new install for a few day to confirm everything is running OK. just in case you are bringing back the cause of the issue[/li][/ul]

my theory is;

[li]maybe the HDD (or even the SSD) is faulty[/li][li]you have saved onto your backup drives something that may be causing your issues[/li][li]don’t use Drive Easy, get all you drivers from the laptop’s website or Windows Updates[/li][/ul]

Yeah I can access practically everything no problem - its just the screen prints I gave a few posts ago - I wish I knew why this happens

The problem doesnt end or even start with steam, infact steam is only a recent development.

But that aside, you guys have identified a hard drive problem I had, which I didnt know about and easily gave me instructions on how to fix it.

So that I am very very grateful for.
