    Whatsapp sound output

When I make a WhatsApp session the other person can hear me and we see each other, but I do not hear the person I am calling. But I have no problem to listen to music con Youtube. So only whatsapp does not output the voice coming in. Why? Is there a place that makes this happen?

Check this article out, you’ll want to change your Audio Device to either Default or whatever device you are currently using.

Do you have headphones plugged in? Plugging in or unplugging headphones can cause Windows to have sound problems sometimes.

If not, does your monitor output sound?

No, all sound 0utput is ZERO. When I go to Settings/Sound I can select the device to which the sound should come out. The right device is selected, but the sound is x-out. So I have to move the bar and so the sound gets on. My problem is that I have to do it every time after I have started my PC-

          Let’s get some more information:

          Download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
          [ol]
[li]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/li][li]In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.[/li][li]Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.[/li][/ol]

Please list your power supply unit

I have purchased a license for speccy. Nice tool to supply a lot of information about the system. I think it is too much to publish it.

                we just need the URL.
there is no info in the report that can be used against you or that cannot already be discovered on the web, like your forward-facing public IP.

I know, the URL gives you access to the information I saw. Rhar is too much entering my privacy.

Thanks to all of you. I am aware that my reasoning is maybe a bit unusual or that I do present it so that it cannot be understood by others.

My PC is a tool with which I play, I keep informing myself and the access to the wonderful sources of learning available on the Internet. I did configure my PC trying to get the best possible and financeable system. Key, as it was a goal with my sponsor, to reactivate my old hobby of flying GA airplanes, now using the simulator MSFS2020. To have a display that offered the best available technology for a 32" monitor I did, a year after having built my PC the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8. For the foreseeable future, its ability to refresh to up to 240Hz makes sure that here the bottleneck in my PC was not going to be this monitor. As of today, my CPU has also not been the bottleneck for the MSFS2020. My sponsor gave me as a Christmas present the MSI RTX3080 graphics card and its ability to have the MSFS2020 generate excellent images. The comparisons with the RTX4090 that can be found on YouTube have not shown an improvement worth purchasing on of this. With the Head and Eye Tracker, Tobii 5 in combination with my Neo G8 monitor are fully satisfying.

Due to health problems, I am very slow in advancing work on my PC setup, as well as in my workshop. This results in having me think about the PC system. I will see finally this week if my PC can display 3840x2160 resolution on the 3 monitors’ that I am placing in the bottom row. I am aware of that 3x3840 resolution on my 3 monitors is above of what is claimed the resolution possible by the RTX3080 for a desktop spanning this 3 monitors.

1x 3840x2160 will not be a problem to get on my Neo G8, 1x 3840x2160 will also not be a problem and I will use it to display “Little NavMap” on it where I benefit from the high resolution. So my intention is to dive the 2nd 28" monitor the best possible resoltion. my 2 24" monitors will be connected via Thunderbolt 4 and seved by the graphics funcionality of my CPU 11700k with each just 1900x1080 resolution. I use them for listening to music on YouTube.

My 3rd use of my PC is for programming and electronics development. Here the multiple monitors are usefull as I can have IDE and documentation around the topic I am dealing with. Here the PC has more abilities than I need.

What is left as a topic I do not have enough knowledge of is the ability to build a desktop in W11 Pro. As of now I was surprized that W11 Pro could combine the displays on the Thunderbolt interface and served by my CPU 11700k with the displays connected to my RTX3080 graphics card. So my question was, could I place a secong graphics card on my motherboard next to the rtx3080 and have W11 Pro also combine displays being served by such a 2nd graphics card to make a desktop. The question as of now is purely academic. I would like to know just to know if that is possible.

in theory, everything you mention is doable.

but of course, there are many factors to consider - like if your motherboard supports dual graphic cards (this is where the Speccy report comes in handy (y)) and the cards are compatible with the motherboard.

Yes, but I cannot give all the reports of the tool. Maybe if you ask for specific items of the report I am willing to share.

that does make things rather cumbersome - the Speccy report is a one-stop-shop of all components on your PC, their status, their drivers, install dates, etc - everything which could help troubleshoot an issue.
it’s the very reason Piriform created the program.

let’s get more eyes on this in the hope they have some suggestions - @Rustys @phillpower2 @PeterOz @Bastet @georgeks
