I installed Microsoft Office 2019 on a computer a few years ago. That computer has died and is no longer in service. I tried to install that same office on another computer, but when I tried to activate it, I was told that office is installed on another device. That is true, but that computer is dead. Can I call Microsoft for help, or I am just out of luck. Thanks, Mike
Learn how to activate Office and where to find troubleshooting resources if activation fails.
If you follow the transfer terms in the Software License Terms, you can move Office to a different computer, but you must activate it by phone and then uninstall Office from the original computer.
