VieoPad File Load Takes Forever

I moved from one laptop to another, both i5’s, and downloaded the latest version of VideoPad, properly registering it. However, when I tried to use it, loading a 11 1/2 minute video clip has taken more than an hour so far. That didn’t happen on th other laptop. Does anyone have any ideas?

There was another member here who found going to an earlier version fixed what sounds like a similar issue.

Yes, I did finally see that. I’ll try rev’ing back a version, but it seems so counter-intuitive that would work. Thanks!

Thanks for your response. I’ll have to give that method a try. I was hoping for possibly an alternate solution.
