    Auslogics Defragger

    What’s going on with Auslogics?
Lately I have downloaded it a few times and a couple of days later it seems to uninstall itself.
Each time I had used Malwarebytes as part of disk clean up.
Yesterday I tried to download again after I found it had uninstalled itself again and got the following message:
“insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service”

    Any ideas?

Maybe you could recommend another defragger.

Ok..how much drive space do you have left? Also this points at not enough memory when you try to install Auglogics. You can try Piriform and see what happens. If you get the same results, shut down some process’s like chrome and other programs that are running and then try to install and run.

Use Windows 7 defragger. You don’t need to install any 3rd party software on your computer.
I use the built in on 4 Windows 7 home computers.

Hi Roger, if you want something really simple try
                https://www.lifewire.com/toolwiz-sma...review-2619165
or if you want more options over your task, and even the ability to run as a no install portable version.

Plodr is correct about Windows 7 Built in defrag, but both of the above apps will do the job many, many times faster than Windows own defrag utility.

                    Hi rogue hawke.
Each time I had used Malwarebytes as part of disk clean up
Is Malwarebytes removing Auslogics and flagging it as a PUP? I’ve seen Malwarebytes remove Auslogics Disk Defrag before so I want to make sure that Malwarebytes is not removing it by mistake. Programs do not just uninstall themselves so make sure its not being removed by any other security programs.

                      Evan Omo,
When I run Malwarebytes it finds many instances of Auslogics and flags them up as PUP.
Even if I tell Malwarebytes to ignore these - Auslogics still seems to disappear from PC a little later.(All very confusing)

Make sure Malwarebytes is not removing any entries automatically. I have the latest version of Auslogics Disk Defrag and the latest version of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and I am not experiencing the issue.

Are you using Malwarebytes free or the premium version?

Also have a read of this, it’s current. Tell Malwarebytes to ignore Defraggler
How to add Exclusions to Malwarebytes? Make Malwarebytes exclude a program, website, file, folder, exploit from being scanned, detected, quarantined.

                            I am using Malwarebytes free.
When I try to download Auslogics it now tells me that it couldn’t be downloaded.
When I try to download Avira flags up PUA/AUSLOGICS.4533 and quarantines it.
