Reproduceable BSOD issue - interferes with startup and work - need help

My PC is crashing in two scenarios repeatedly, sometimes jsut after starting up and opening browser etc. is freezes and BSODS, maybe 50% of the time, I just restart thriceish then.
Second Scenario is trying to play Tarkov(EFT) on bigger Maps, can’t go 2min without crashing (really wanna play Tarkov please it just wiped), smallest map factory often can be played without issue, but does nto seem to be a heat problem.

The BSODS “types” are usually DPC Watchdog Violation (most often one jsut after start), “PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA”, “MEMORY MANAGEMENT”.

I’ve attached my event viewer logs and the most recent crashdump.

I suspect it’s a fautly driver, but I really have no idea and more importandly, if I’m right I have no idea how to find out which one it is I need to reset.

    Specs:
    Win 10 Home
    Graca: Radeon RX590 Series
    Processor 11th Gen Intel(R) Core™ i7-11700K
    RAM: Patriot Memory Viper 4 Series RAM DDR4 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3200MHz Kit CL16
    Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z590-P

SOS please halp - it’s a mix between fun and work PC and I’ve been struggeling with this since for over a week and I’m just a wittle gobwlin that can’t even read event viewer logs

assuming it may be memory related, take out both sticks and clean the sticks and the slots they go into.
then out back only one stick and run the PC and see how it goes.
if the problem repeats, remove that stick and replace it with the other.
if it happens again, try another slot.

Yeah, sorry for the late answer, I tried what you suggested and it did not help. Also did win memory checks both times and they came up with nothing.

Last BSOD was “SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED”, I’d attach crash logs etc. if it seemed like anyone would ever read them. But I’ll just keep on hoping and leave the critical event viewer details here, maybe it will help. At this point idk if a reset would fix my problems.

Be happy to take a look if you would be so good as to see POSTING INSTRUCTIONS - Please read before posting in this section

          For just uploading dmps.
          1. Copy any dmp files from C:\Windows\Minidump onto the desktop.
          2. Select all of them, right-click on one, and click on Send To> New Compressed (zipped) Folder.
          3. Upload the zip folder using the Attach button, bottom left of the dialogue input box

            Hey, thanks for the offer.

In the first post in this thread is an older dump and eventviewer logs from me attached.
Here I’ll also attach my most recent minidumps and eventviewer logs, only errors and critical errors.

Thanks in advance, tell me if you need any more info, I’m still betting on faulty drivers or something, if you find something and it’s not as obvious as “roll back driver xy” I would greatly appreciate it if you would roughly point me to somewhere that helps me resolve the problem at hand.

            xoxo

You are most welcome but can I ask that if you still have Driver Verifier enabled that you disable it.

Three crash dmps there but only one lot of drivers flagged up, what they are and how we deal with them here

The Brave browser got a mention in one of the the other dmps but that was most likely down to driver verifier.

@phillpower2 Thanks for trying either way

Yeah by now I already disabled driver verifier since those three were from not being able to start up, due to driver verifier.

I expect many here are american including you and I’m european, so it’s the mdidle of the night here and I just wanna note that it might be like at elast a day before I’ll write another answer you’ll read in time.

But I’ll update/replace that driver and do some “stress testing” to see if the issues are fixed.

If not, I will attach minidumps and event viewer logs regarding the new crashes.

You can add this to the next message after my next crashdumps, if you want, but I just want to make sure, since you said “only one lot of drivers flagged up”, but on the link there is only one driver to see “Driver for Qualcomm Atheros CB42/CB43/MB42/MB43 Network Adapter” and not “lots of drivers”. Is there like a link on there to the other flagged drivers that I’m missing, should I update/roll them back, or should I not worry about them for now?

                xoxo

Hey @phillpower2 it uh still does the thing, meaning under high load, playing 5min Tarkov on a bigger map, it crashes seemingly randomly. After rolling back and updating the “Driver for Qualcomm Atheros CB42/CB43/MB42/MB43 Network Adapter”.

I’ve attached the dump regarding that and the uptodate eventviewer logs.

There are no drivers flagged up nor was a particular process list as being the cause in your latest crash dmp.

Re enable DV to see if it flushes out a problem driver, the Atheros again perhaps.

Regarding Event Viewer, you will always get Windows errors of some sort and the only ones that you should be concerned with are the Critical ones, these are for the likes of error 41 which in turn tends to be associated with a computer turning itself off before Windows has been allowed to fully shutdown first.

@phillpower2 Btw Thanks for the help so far

So I reenabled DV and it did not give me any non-signified(? don’t knwo the translation) drivers and thus went into the cycle of starting, trying to play and crashing.

                      I’ve attached the crash dumps.

The first one (time wise) was after getting into the “lobby” of the game Tarkov, going into loading for a raid (map) crashed, second one was crashing during PC startup directly, third one was trying to open the launcher for Tarkov which caused the BSOD and fourth one was on startup again. None of them during the BSOD gave me a faulty driver at the bottom and yeah you should be able to see the BSOD messages in the dumps I suspect. All 4 BSODS, but idk why only two crashdumps got generated.

Can gladly generate more this way if needed. Or whatever else might help.

Any ideas for fixes? Should I just take a day, copy everything and reset reset the system, like fully truly wipe it all? Or do you think this is reasonably solvable?

                      Kind regards

This a quick reply as I have an early start so need to call it a day now.

                          First crash was clearly Windows Defender related but the second pointed towards nothing, off to bed now but will leave you with the following to do;

Download then run the Windows All in One Repair tool from here, disregard the malware guidance but follow the other steps to the letter and in particular ensuring that you first create a new restore point and perform a proper Windows clean boot before running the repair, details for the clean boot here.

@phillpower2 Quick update: It did not work

I did everything to the letter, did the repair with all options ticked, I saw it find a few things and tried a round afterwards. It crashed after barely 2min to desktop without warning, tried again and it BSODS after 2min, crashdump is attached.

Also yes I have already tried reinstalling it etc. and just made a Windows Defender exception to be sure.

                              Any other realistic ideas/suggestions?
