I think I have the answer.
The ram you bought is PC3-12800(1600MHZ)
Your computer takes
[ul]
[li]8 GB DDR3 SDRAM PC3-10600 (1333MHz) non ECC (2 x 4 GB)[/li][/ul]Comment

Yeah I just saw that - sorry
When I look up the specs in Australia it gave me PC3-12800(1600MHZ)
When I translated your link into english it is correct.
The only option I can think of is reset the bios to defaults - but if you have not played with the bios ???
Time to ask for help

maybe Iβm missing something, but old memory - all is good, new memory - no boot.
so despite what the RAM frequency says, for some reason your PC just doesnβt like the new memory.
with those memory specs being so old, were the new sticks pre-loved or brand new?
have you checked the motherboardβs manual or website to see if that new memory on on theor compatibility list?Comment

thatβs a pity, but as I said, it does really matter.
we know the βnewβ sticks donβt work.
the QVL will either not have them listed, proving that point or show them as compatible and you know they arenβt.
either way - you are up for trying other sticks until you get lucky.Comment
