Hi, my PC crashes a few times a day and causes bluescreen when im playing games and im not sure what the cause is. iv tried looking for fixes but nothing has worked. sometimes it doesnt happen for a few days but then it comes back and starts occurring again and again and i have no clue what the problem is. this has been happening a month or two after upgrading my GPU, PSU and RAM. I have looked into event viewer what the error is after i get BSOD and most of the errors say βDump file creation failed due to error during dump creation.β (volmgr).
If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).
Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:
In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.
Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
I apologise, didnβt see it.
My PSU model No. is CP-9020211-AU
i think this is the number you need im not sure there a few different numbers and they not specified.
As for brand, i have a custom built computer.
Another thing i might add, in my event viewer there are so many errors, critical and warning logs. You can see for yourself in the screenshots below.

the source for almost all of the of the βWARNINGβ logs is βDISKβ and βDistrubtedCOMβ.
Sorry but that is an awful choice of PSU and should not be used anywhere near a computer that has anything more than integrated graphics, CV = Corsair Value which are named as such as they are very low spec such as thin wiring and weak capacitors etc, Corsair say here that your PSU should be used for βpowering your new home or office PCβ
You need a minimum of a Gold efficiency rated 500W PSU from a proven brand such as Corsair, EVGA or Seasonic.
Regarding Event Viewer, you will always get errors, information and warnings in EV and for the most part as long as Windows is running ok the info in EV can be safely ignored, this not the case though when you can see Critical warnings as can be seen in your screenshot which do mean Windows needs attention.
Windows is shown to have been installed on 23/09/2020, can I ask from where the Windows 10 media for the install came from and why is there so much of a gap between checking for and installing the couple of Windows 10 updates that have actually been installed.
Operating System
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Iβm shook. Was hoping it wasnt psu.
I had to reinstall windows from a USB because my computer wasnt starting up anymore and had to reset it entirely, I had the startup and recovery boot menu and it wasnt turning. As for the updates Iβm not sure what you mean.
Another thing i might also add is that my fans make weird noises whenever i load up a game and start playing it, Iβm not sure if thatβs the GPU fans going off saying its getting used or something but ye. Most of the noise seems to be grinding and iv checked multiple times there is no wires nothing in the way of the case fans nor the GPU and CPU fans. The noises are fairly loud too.
I apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your help alot!
Thanks!
Not what was asked so will ask another way, where did you get the Windows 10 operating system that is on the USB device,
Speccy shows that Windows 10 was installed on September 23rd last year but only one Windows 10 update has been installed since and that there two that are apparently stuck, there are normally only two reasons why Windows would be so far out of date, Windows is not legit and/or Windows is corrupt.
You 100% need a new PSU unless you want to damage all of your hardware, you may have done so already looking at your latest reply #10.
Unless urgent, can I ask that you do not post more than one reply at a time, it amounts to bumping your thread and is therefore frowned upon.

The windows 10 operating system that was on the USB I got it from the microsoft website where you download it from.
Will an EVGA 500W gold be enough?
The only reason I had so many replies was that I kept remembering things to add as you can with the timestamps because you are only online at around 7:30am my time I cant have a live conversation.

what i meant to say in no.2 was that do you know any good ones that are suitable for my pc?? i have a found a
Corsair RM550x 550W 80 Plus V2 Gold Fully Modular ATX Power Supply but not sure if its suitable for my pc thats why i am asking you.
Apologise for multiple replies but its like i said earlier, throughout the day i remember things and tend to put them in since you only go online 1 part of the day and i cant edit a reply to add things to it thatβs why there are so many of them.
Do not quote every reply, we have to read the full post to make sure nothing gets missed, thanks.
The Corsair is a great PSU and covered by a ten year warranty, output wise it is more than you need so it really comes down to what else you have available to you and the price difference.
We need to take a look at Windows and possibly the drive that it is stored on, you shouldnβt be having the Windows issues that you are getting with an ISO that you downloaded from Microsoft.
