    Sounds like Windows is trying to load Dell drivers for a Gigabyte MB.

    Are you trying to use the previous Windows installation and product key with a new MB Sm0nke

      It turns out I had to change storage devices because Dell had completely taken over the old one. So yeah you are right. My issue is all fixed now. Thank you both for your help.

        What you describe is perfectly normal and not Dell taking over anything, the drivers that are on the drive were only intended to work with the Dell system board that was present when Windows was installed on the Dell 9020.
