    Recent hardware change

So I’ve recently switched from a Dell 9020 motherboard to a gigabyte ga-h81m-ds2 and transferred my i7-4770 into the new one. I also got a rx 570 and put that in too.

The issue im having is that I can’t use the computer. I can get into bios fine, but if I let the load up screen run out, it trys auto repairing and failing. Then sometimes it comes up with a blue screen message. I’ve somehow managed to stop the bluescreen but now it seems like my storage device is corrupted because I get into the login screen and it says β€œThe User Profile Service service failed to sign-in” then promotes β€œthe instruction at 0x00007ff72a6625c6 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000004c8. The memory could not be read”.

I would really appreciate some help here.

      Hi,

Are you able to boot the computer into Safe Mode? Did try booting up the system with just one stick of RAM installed and seeing if it boots into Windows successfully?

I can’t boot into safe mode because the motherboard on supports safe mode for Windows 8 whilst I have a Windows 10, I’ll try 1 stick of ram

Did you try using each stick of RAM by itself to see if there is any difference?

Also try resetting the BIOS back to default values on the new motherboard and see if that works. I know that Windows typically may not boot when you change out motherboards like this so you may need to repair the Windows installation. Do you have a bootable Windows 10 USB drive?

You can create a Windows bootable flash drive by downloading the media creation tool, Download Windows 10.

Get yourself an 8 GB or a 16 GB flash drive and create a bootable Windows 10 flash drive using the Media Creation Tool in the link I provided above and I can assist you with repairing the Windows 10 OS so the computer can hopefully boot into Windows 10.

                      No its the same terminology.

If you can get into Safe Mode try Performing a Clean boot in Windows and see if the computer boots up successfully in Normal mode.
