Evan blue screen says: system thread exception not handled

    Error:- netr28usys
    HTHelps. Crackerjack
    Thanks again
PS used the start progs software which did give me a win 7 start box appearance - but some progs still not in the list and have to get at them by searching and opening a document file which was created by using the relative programme. No big deal but a bit weird don’t you think - a bit like if you download a file with a rare file extension? and have to do an online search to find the relative programme!

Evan am starting to think that it’s the adapter that’s gone duff - what’s your take on prob All else seems reasonably sound at mo - except for the ,22 Mon boot - which I get round by using sleep function!

If installing the Windows 10 driver for the wireless adapter causes the computer to blue screen and its indeed caused by that driver, then you might consider getting another wireless device or testing it on another PC to make sure the device itself is not faulty.

evan -heres latest update friend !
have ordered a new adapter and trying a different mfr Whilst the tenda was functioning prior to upgrade it seems that its strange it suddenly stopped working correctly on upgrade wouldnt you agree nevertheless a new adapter and its win10 driver on disk -we will wait and see eh

since then it now connects via hard wired powerline adapters and I have used the Iobit programme to check most drivers are up to date for win 10
have also used ccleaner to tidy up and defragged which reports that c drive is GOOD and at moment its running after completing the SLOW 22 MIN BOOT PRETTY WELL

However I am still having to access some ofmy progs VIA THE BACK DOOR so to speak -opening a file via file explorer which then gets me into prog to create a new doc etc
has anyone on her met this on upgrading
also as stated on boot from switch off the little wheel spins for over 20 mins even though Iveremoved most processes from start up again any ideas Will upfate you further of any changes but grateful for your atience and help

Lets see what is starting up with your machine.

Please download Autoruns. After you download the zipped folder on your desktop, right click the zipped folder and click Extract All. After the folder has been extracted open the regular folder. Run the autoruns.exe program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When you open the program, click the Logon Tab and then post a screenshot of all the startup entries on the Logon Tab in your next reply.

In Autoruns on the Logon Tab, remove the following items:

                  rdpclip
                  Realtek HD Audio Manager
                  CCleaner
                  Microsoft OneDrive
                  Microsoft Office
                  Office Startup
                  Google Chrome
                  Windows Mail
The Microsoft item highlighted in yellow

After those items have been removed, reboot the computer and let me know if the computer runs any better.

presume you mean by that - untick the relative box , fella?

(from that you`ll readily appreciate my limited knowledge of the internal functions of a desktop!!!)

                    cheers

                      Hi Evan
                      Update
New adapter working fine and a realy fast connection and stable
Have unticked the items on Autorun login as requested though and from restart to Welcome /password screen is still 23 mins
Then PC at moment working fine and dandy!
Defraggler report says HDD iealth good --but could this be a hardware prob rather than Win 10 bootup
Not being as conversant with PC`s as you seems strange to me that only startup is slow and then (now youve helped sort out some of the Win 10 upgrade gliches ) its working fine once Im logged in with password etc (scratches head!)

Instead of unchecking those items via the checkboxes, you can highlight each item in Autoruns and click on the Red X at the top of the window which says delete which will permanently remove the entry.

After you remove those entries, click Start< type msconfig in the Start search box and click enter to open the System Configuration Utility. After that window opens, click on the Services tab and then check the box that say hide all Microsoft services. After that’s done, take a screenshot of the 3rd party services that show in the Services window and post a screenshot of that information in your next reply.

Your screenshot should look like this:

                          Hi Evan
Presume that using the red cross delete only deletes them at β€œstartup” ??

                                Yes that is correct.

Click Start< type Services in the Start search box and hit enter to open the Services window. After the services window opens double click on each service that I list below and then set the startup type to disabled.

                                All the Adobe Services
                                AMD External Events Utility
                                Sentinel LDK License Manager
                                LiveUpdate
                                MediatekRegistryWriter
                                Rapport Management Service
                                Realtek WLanU
                                Realtek DHCP Service
                                RunSwUSBServiceLayer
                                Wondershare Driver Install Service

After those listed services are set to disabled, reboot the computer. Once the computer reboots, open Autoruns again and this time click on the Scheduled Tasks tab and post a screenshot of your scheduled tasks in Autoruns in your next reply.
