Hi everyone,
My son (almost 13) has a gaming pc that his dad built a couple of years ago. Most games are played via Steam and lots of them play fine with no problems. The games that consistently have issues are No Man’s Sky, Stellaris, God of War, and most recently Hogwarts Legacy. Sometimes the screen just turns black and the computer restarts or shuts down and sometimes the game just closes. We have tried lowering graphic quality settings and that doesn’t seem to
I don’t know what is causing the issues we are having. I’m not sure if something needs to be upgraded, or if there is something else wrong. We will work through any suggestions together, and hopefully learn some great troubleshooting tips. I have seen on some other threads that Speccy info is usually requested, so I have already done that. Last week, we increased the RAM from 16G to 32G with only minimal improvements.
Thank you in advance for any help.
Monica & Christopher
