20mbps internet but 300 -310 ms ping in League of legends

Hi, I used to have 296 ms in LoL when I had 12 mbps internet, somehow it started becoming slower later on. Now I have upgraded to 20mbps and it is still at 300+ ms. can anybody help me?
I have used hextech repair to force repatch and even done full repair from the client settings.

What operating system are you using?

Is this something that has been happening or just started?

Besides the internet speed change what other changes has been made to the computer?

When you run a ping through the DOS prompt what does the show for the ms?

Try pining several sites and see what the results are.

Have you tried resetting your network settings?

Are you connecting WiFi or directly to the modem?
If Wifi connect directly to the modem does that make a difference?

Have a look at this resource and see if any of it helps.

      Hello.
      Windows 10.
it has been happening for a while now. I only play league of legends so am not sure of what will the result be in other online games.
there are not much changes other than the internet speed. I am getting proper download speed i.e 2 to 2.4 mbps. I feel like browsing speed is a bit slow at times, but i don’t know how to test it.

the ping through dos shows 77ms for google. 82 ms for facebook. not sure why it is showing 1ms for pchelpforum tho (ttl=59)

it is night here, so i will follow the last step tomorrow morning and report to you (those are a lot of steps).[/color]

        Not a problem.

You might also try rebooting the Modem/Router see if that helps.

There are other sources that can interfere with the signal like other WiFi signals that maybe running on the same channel.

Hi, I reached Step One C Change Your Adapter Settings . But at this step, when I go to advanced in driver property, it doesn’t show anything, but when I click anything on the properties, it seems to be loading and immediately closes automatically along with device manager.

Correct that is the only one that you need to remove is the Realtek Wireless LAN…

Did you reboot prior to doing Step C?

[li]Reboot your machine after you have completed this step!![/li][li]Windows will auto reinstall the drivers upon rebooting; this essentially refreshes the drivers.[/li][/ul]

also I play on my pc which is directly connected to router instead of using wifi. I have restarted router too, but it does not seem to work.

Did the computer tell you that is found the new hardware check in Device Manager and see if it is listed in there under Network Adapters.
                      Or
                      Have you gotten past this?

Are you using a VPN using Tunnel Bear?
Several issues reported using Tunnel Bear.

Let try removing the reference to that in the Network Adapters in Device Manager
Reboot and see if that helps.

                          There are two things.
Run the Restore Point that was in Step One
                          OR
Reinstall the software for the WiFi Card.

What is the Make and Model

You should be able to the software from the computers manufactures web site.

You can also get the software form the Realtek site.
