    The specs are
    I5 6500
    H310M-R r2 motherboard
    8gb ram
    1tb storage
    Builder 500w power supply
    Alpine 12 co cpu cooler

        The psu is 230volt and 500w
        And I have upgrade everything but the 1tb storage

                  Ok i can’t even find this company name for reviews.. I would suggest that your issue sounds like a less than good psu issue..

                        Thanks for confirming it but bad news I`m afraid, the CPU and MB may be the same socket number but the MB is only compatible with 8th and 9th generation CPUs so the 6th generation I5 6500 is not compatible

                        You can confirm for yourself the compatibility issue if you check the CPU support list at ASUS here if you check the Customer questions & answers at amazon here you will see that someone asks about compatibility third question in.

                          Thanks hopefully if I get a 8th or 9th generation it will work

                            As long as the CPU socket has not been damaged by fitting the I5 6500 an 8th generation would work but please note that a BIOS update may be required before an 9th generation will work and you can`t do a BIOS upgrade without a working CPU so you best go for an 8th gen CPU tbh.
