Custom pc not booting

Hi everyone
Recently i purchased an asrock a320m pro4 mb, geil super luce rgb ddr4 2x4gb mem and a ryzen 3 2200g with vega graphics.
I have put it all together and the following happens:
Fans spin
No video output
No beeps
No lights
All cables are plugged in. Been cautious with static related stuff. No dust or water damage. All brand new. Can someone please help me out. I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Couple of questions if I may;

What is the brand and model name or number of your screen and your PSU.

Have you connected both the 8 pin and 24 pin power connections from the PSU to the MB.

Do you have a link to the exact same Geil RAM as what you have.

What memory slots do you have the RAM in.

You mention not getting any beeps, checked the MB specs and it does not have an onboard speaker so unless you have fitted your own you will not get any beeps, see attachment below;

Im pretty sure that i figured out the problem aswell. I must be blind or something XD
I only just checked my psu. No name brand but its only 430w. I couldnt power a third of my pc with that if the problem persists after i get a new psu i will post more info.

A good quality brand minimum of Bronze efficiency rated 430W PSU would well be enough for your system as it is but I would never suggest anything below 500W in case you wanted to add even a mid level gaming GPU, no name PSUs should be banned imo

Use the PSU links in my sig for help with choosing an appropriate PSU, need any help along the way, let us know.

Placed in slot a1 and b1 also tried a1 and a2.

Have you tried one stick at a time in slot A2.

Yeah tried that. I think im going to pick up a 500w evga psu tomorrow the 80plus one

And yeah i intend on putting in a 1080 ti which i believe needs two 2x8 pin plugs. I will be getting that later in the year. I might even get 600w tomorrow

Say for instance it isnt the psu that is the problem ,what other suggestions or things would it be?

That would do as a temporary measure if not using an add on video card at all.

A rather expensive video card and one that should be powered by at least a 600/650W Gold efficiency rated PSU, preferably one that has a 10 year warranty.

Without having any information regarding the present PSU it is difficult for us, for example, it may not have the correct ATX connections for the MB, the 24 pin main power connection is pretty much a standard feature these days but how have you got the PSU connected to the 8 pin 12V ATX power header that needs to power the CPU.

Ok i get that last bit about the posts. My dad offered me a 1080ti if i did well at school this next term. Other wise i would never be able to afford one and yeah a 500 or 600w psfor now and when i het a new card i will buy either a 650 or 700w if theu come in 700w which im pretty sure they do and will double check the connection included in a modular psu to make things nice and neat. Thanks for all of the help if the psu doesnt fix it i will let you know. the psu is connected with a 2x2 and larger 24 or whatever one. I asked asrock on the phone and they said you dont need a 2x4 and that a 2x2 should work

how have you got the PSU connected to the 8 pin 12V ATX power header that needs to power the CPU.

It may shed some light on what the problem is if you answer this for us.

I have a 4pin plugged into the mb in part of the 8pin slot asrock said it was fine

Not doubting you but can I ask how ASRock came to tell you that using a 4 pin ATX connection in an 8 pin socket would be fine.

In some circumstance using a 4 pin connector in an 8 pin socket could work, on an entry level MB with a very low power CPU for example, no way on this earth would it work with a more demanding CPU like a Ryzen 3 2200G that must also produce the graphics, a basic explanation would be that 4 pins power the processing power and the other 4 pins which are known as “supplemental” power the graphics solution.
