Every product has failures, and you were just unlucky.
Indeed I was, it seems that the maelstrom is getting more and more popular. I did honestly love it whilst I had it. I miss the little pulsing face, and the extra fan lol. Though I’ve sent DEEPCOOL an email with proof of purchase etc, I’m just waiting for a reply.
As far as the PSU don’t buy cheapies, as they normally don’t last long.
Adding to that the cheapie PSU’s normally have shorter wiring, and often you need to buy cable extensions to reach.
An 80+ Certified I recommend. You are guaranteed wattage delivery.
You are down in your 12v Rail readings so a new PSU is needed.
PSU is one of the most important pieces of Hardware in your computer.
Yeah that’s the main regret of this build, I should have put alot more cash into the PSU. I am in the middle of planning anew build though, I’m not sure if I should change the PSU now, or just huff it out until I’m on my new box. THEN replace it, as this build will be going to my partner, so she can do music editing.

I know I wont be gaming for a while without my cooler. The fan is doing a pretty poor job, it keeps it cool but if I click on a game, it gets really unhappy.

If this build is going to your partner, then replace the PSU now for her, as this present PSU is starting to fail, going by the rail readings.
Regardless of what your partner intends to do with this computer.
I will say it again. The Maelstrom 120K is an amazing cooler.

Ah, I’m not all that clued up on when things are going kaput, but I’ll look into getting a new PSU, though, judging from my past choices I think I may need a little help.

I always fit 600-700 Watt PSU’s to my every build, regardless.

oki koki, I’m presuming one with better quality then mine, I think mines under as a bronze 600w. Though the make isn’t too good, what about a corsair?

Every one will recommend a different Brand. Best you read reviews of different brands, on the Net.
I need to get some of my own work done.Back later.
