yeah but the motherboard itself idk if it will support cuz this motherboard has like two models and one does and on doesnt support quads so i dont wanna buy a procesor and getstuck with itOriginally posted by jmarketYes you can. The motherboard uses a LGA775 socket and both CPUs use the LGA775 socket. Just make sure your BIOS is up to date and you’ll be fineComment

Ok. It got stuck? Can you try and run it again?
What amount of money are you willing to spend to make this upgrade a reality?
We can see what exact mother board you have with Speccy.Originally posted by lazyyeah but the motherboard itself idk if it will support cuz this motherboard has like two models and one does and on doesnt support quads so i dont wanna buy a procesor and getstuck with it

Your motherboard will support a Intel 2 Quad processor just fine. As I said, it uses a LGA775 socket and it’ll work just fine
The Intel Core 2 Quad processor was released in 2008. Your motherboard was released in 2009. You’ll be fine Your computer is also a mini-tower, so it’ll support:
Q9550
Q9650
Q9400
Q8300
Q8200Comment
