      hello, perfect timing yes i have done the clean boot and done the all in one repair, currently checking all my files, (doing full scan)

      might be a dumb question should I do the HP support assistant update? as it suggest me to do so?

      also booted up a game and so far no issue as of now

        I personally wouldn’t use the HP Support Assistant, to me why trust a 3rd party program to update your drivers when you can easily, and correctly, do it yourself!
        get them off the HP website for your make/model of PC.

          Alright thanks for the info, so far I couldn’t play long enough for my game to actually see if it has worked or not so I’ll see by the next 2 days of the result. If that is alright?

              HP bloatware + as I already advised previously;

              Depending on priority it can take many months before the driver provider releases any fix and depending on the age of the hardware or software concerned they sometimes do not even bother or may have already announced an end of support.

                hello,

                just giving you an update so far i was able to test one game due to time constraint on my end and so far working fine for a short game session but didn’t have time to play game that are more demanding yet, what do you suggest me to do? should i keep testing as most likely it will be during the weekends when i am free to try out multiple games to see if the issue is still here

                    Hello,

                    Sadly my issue is still here played for about an hour and my monitor lost connection and fan went on over drive. Did a manual shutdown again presented with a black screen with green dots on my screen (image attach) which happens sometimes when the issue occurs. Only way to fix it is shutting down again or turn of power then back on again.

                      And sorry if I didn’t mention this before but the black monitor thing happens outside of the game aswell like when I open some sort of an application mainly full screen application which makes my monitor turn back for a few seconds and come back on

                          at this stage, I would be backing up my files and nuking the system from space - that is, wipe and reload Windows.
                          there are too many things it could be - hardware or software, we seem to be no closer.

                          I’d suggest using the Windows Media Creation Tool and making a bootable USB stick with the latest build.
                          download the motherboard drivers in readiness.
                          reboot using that stick, wipe the partitions on the drive you want to load Windows onto when offered and install Windows.

                          reload the chipset drivers.
                          then run the rig as is, no other software loaded.
                          see if anything re-occurs. if it does, at this early stage, then the issue is most likely hardware related - PSU, memory, drive, who knows.
                          if happy, install one game and test for hours.
                          if the issue happens at this stage, it is most likely software related.

                            Dame, as a last ditch hope before doing a full windows install

                            Phill mentioned nvidia drivers has some issues going on with it ant possible way to fix that? Before doing a fresh windows install?

                              Back to my reply #6 I`m afraid.

                              Couple of things for you to do;

                              Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

                              To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

                              In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

                              In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

                              Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

                              Download MiniToolBox and save the file to the Desktop.

                              Close the browser and run the tool, check the following options;

                              List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
                              List Installed Programs
                              List Devices (Only Problems)
                              List Users, Partitions and Memory size

                              Click on Go.

                              Post the resulting log in your next reply for us if you will.

                              A weak PSU is a strong contender as being the cause but also in the mix is bad drivers.

                              Can I just mention that the specs at the HP link in your reply #3 do not correspond to that of which is in Speccy :unsure:[/color]

                                You don’t have to reinstall windows.

                                Many people have this issue and some reformatted their pc, replaced their gpu and the list goes on. All of this doesn’t help.
                                I currently assume something like an intel 10th gen issue under high load? Or maybe a z490 issue? Maybe a bios issue? Maybe even a ram issue?

                                One guy stated a temp fix is reducing the clock and memory speeds massively, which would also decrease the cpu load tbh and could therefor be a fix.
                                I am currently trying that..
