Hi, I hope this is the right place to post this.
I have an Asus ROG (system model G751JY) laptop running Windows 10. I have (or had) an Acer S240HL screen plugged in via HDMI which I use as the main screen.
I was highlighting text on a PDF file using Acrobat Reader DC, and all of a sudden my computer crashed (both screens went black). When it fixed itself the Acer screen was no longer functioning. I went into the display settings page and the Acer screen could not be detected. I tried turning the computer off and on, unplugging the screen and plugging it in. That did not work. I tried updating all the relevant drivers but apparently they are all up to date. The screen still cannot be detected.
The only thing I did differently before the crash was to disable the wi-fi adapter (so as not o get distracted by the internet while working). But I struggle to see how that could have caused my current issue.
Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.
