Hello everyone,
I have a Lenovo V330-15IKB (Model name: 81AX) 8th-gen i7 with 8gb ram laptop. After some time, it stopped booting up properly, often taking multiple attempts to boot up. When this happens, the power button and caps-lock key light up, and the fan starts making noise after a few seconds, but the screen doesnβt turn on. I have to shut it off with the power button and turn it on multiple times. It also takes a long time to shut down and sometimes doesnβt shut down properly. Occasionally, it boots up on the first or second attempt.
The problem started sometime after I installed dual boot Linux while it was running on Windows. Later, I deleted the Windows partition after the problem began. I also changed the hard disk after some time. Itβs currently running on Linux. So far, I have reset the BIOS both in the BIOS settings and by removing the CMOS battery. I have attempted a clean install of Linux, checked my memory using MemTest (it passed 14 tests), changed my hard drive, and checked all the hinges and cables, but the problem persists.
What do you think could be the issue? Thanks for your help.
