sorry for the delayed reply, It is currently 1:30 am here and I dozed off.
there was no command prompt in the context menu that pops out with windows key + X, there is terminal tho.
I opened the command prompt through search, ran as admin, and input the command you gave.
restarted. the advanced power settings still shows only balanced as an option.

That will be because the seller of the notebook has installed their own power control app, two options, wait until the seller sorts all of the present issues out for you or uninstall their power app and enable the Windows 11 High Performance Power Plan.
Question for you, have you checked the Performance tab options in the notebooks Control Centre, the battery options are only intended to prolong battery life and you may need to select something like gaming mode at the Performance tab area of Control Centre.

yes, there are game mode and turbo mode for more heat. I use game mode most of the time. havenβt changed any settings since I donβt know them.

That does explain why there is no High Performance option in Windows.
You are now unfortunately stuck with waiting on the seller to get back to you regarding the drivers, the chipset drivers being the most important have to come from the manufacturer of the MB as they are the only ones that write them and we can`t look for them for you because we do not know the brand of the MB.
We do know that you have an Intel CPU and chipset so you could download and run the Intel Driver Assist to see what that comes up with, use the auto detect and make a written note of any results but don`t download and install anything until Ripple have gotten back to you.
Thank you again. So, I will wait for them to update me with the drivers from the MB manufacturer, and let you know what happens.
I will put the note of the results as soon as I come back, going out for food.
Okay am back. I thought the intel detect would take time but it was almost instant.
these 3 were found to have updates:

Seems like it will take some time, I messaged them but they said they havenβt received the updates from the MB manufacturer. Will update here once I receive update.
Suggestion, try asking them for the MB details, brand and model name or number, if we have that info we can do our own research.
I got a reply from them. They said by friday now, but not sure if it will really come at friday. I asked them about MB details, and they said it is classified.
