Is this with just the one stick of RAM in slot A2.

Try the other RAM in just slot A2 and make a note of the results.

Next, remove all RAM from the board and power up to see if the beep pattern changes.

Tried all ram in A2, then tried all ram in A1.. All make 2 beeps then 4 beeps..

No beeps at all with no ram installed

I also tried A1 and 2 slots multi ram stick in various configurations and the B3 and B4 in various dtick configurations. All with the same 2 beeps and thrn 4 beeps..

Hate to be a pain but the beeps will have a sequence. E.G 2 Short beeps and 4 long beeps or 2 long 4 short etc.
It makes a difference, so what is the sequence.

                        They are short beeps

@phillpower2 Do you think the cmos battery could be part of this?

Suggested a CMOS battery check last week and the OP said that it had been changed Peter.

Would still suggest a now CMOS battery and if still no change in any of the behaviour you need to swap a known good PSU for testing purposes, if still no change, based on the no beeps with no RAM in the board I would suspect that the board is bad.

There is currently no cmos battery in the board, it was removed a while ago because i would have to replace ot weekly and reinstall windows weekly. It worked great with it removed until now..
