No keyboard, mouse or picture

Working fone for a good long time 2+ years
All over a sudden no picture, no mouse, no keyboard.

Pulled and swapped each ram stick individually, as well as swapped into slot 1 ( all 4). Pulled each GPU one at a time and swapped them. Running dual 8 pin for each for power. Both GPUs lit up and fans ran fine

Never had high temperatures, and coolant was flowing via flow meter. All fans worked aswell.

Swapped hdmi and display port cables

Motherboard seems to have power as it lights up, with no flashing lights ( no post codes).

I have reset cmos and have removed and swapped NVME drives. Also, no signal out of motherboard via display port. All connectors have been checked

Im at a loss.. any help available?

Have you inspected the mobo ? Also it may be the psu.. Have you tried another electrical outlet?

I have reset cmos

Have you checked the charge level on the cmos battery.
Try removing the main and cmos battery for 24 hours to allow a complete discharge of the motherboard.
and connect 1 monitor only via hdmi.

With 1 stick it should be slot 2

Have you disconnected and reconnected all the modular cables to and from the PSU.

Have you tried the keyboard and mouse in the other USB ports and likewise if battery powered have you tried known good batteries in them.

All usb ports provide power then the keyboard and mouse go black again. I have disconnected all the cables and have removed, replaced and cleared Cmos as well as kept it out. Onlything i havent done is the second slot for the ram

Good that the USB devices show signs of life as it goes some way to showing that the MB is ok, I say some way because if the CPU socket is bad the MB is bricked, a CPU failing is more likely under normal use though.

What about any batteries in the keyboard, the mouse does not matter but if a keyboard is not detected during the power on self test POST will fail, likewise try a new CMOS battery, if you splash screen is disabled on boot a dead CMOS and/or keyboard battery could result in a blank screen.

Slot two is the primary when one of RAM is to be used, try slot A2 and get back to us.

I will try the ram slot, the keyboard lights up for a couple seconds then shuts off ( goes black and unresponsive), same with the mouse. I could look into getting a new keyboard, but would like to avoid that at this point, u til ive ruled all other things out.

A long time ago, i had a Cmos battery issue ( 1+ years ago) and took it out, and it functioned find since then. Everyonce in a while i get freezing and the GPUS going to full fan. However they will run normal for 98% of the time, even for hours of gaming or movies. I know dual gpus arent favored anymore but its what ive run forever. I also know vega 56s are far outdated compared to say 4090s or other gpus today..

Motherboard glows the symbol regardless of eing shut off or not now ( never noticed it until now). Also the cpu water block no long lights up.. the pump is a Thermaltake reservoir and pump combo and runs fine

It just slipped my mind doing everything.

In a bit of my defense i did swap ram stick around and used each stick in differrnt slots just not the single stick in the second slot

No defence needed, some people for example have coolers or add on cards that interfere with memory and PCI-E slots and being the primary slot it should have been done first as some boards will not pass POST without RAM in that slot.

Did different ram stick in the second slot and same issue.. no posting just quick lights on the keyboard and mouse and then nothing

Not a good sign I`m afraid

You are going to have to get yourself a BIOS error speaker like the one in the attachment below, it is doubtful that two GPUs have failed at the same time but you should remove one and then try them in each of the other slots.

Let us know when you get the BIOS error speaker and we can provide some testing steps for you.

I have both of them out and have put each individual gpu in each slot and its the same thing.. ill order up a speaker

First test to do once you have connected the speaker to the header on the MB.

Have one GPU in the primary slot on the MB and connected to a single screen.

Keep just the one stick of RAM in slot A2.

Connect the keyboard to one of the black USB 2.0 ports on the MB.

Connect the power cord then power up the PC to see is you get any error beeps.

Let us know the outcome.

Sidenote, do you need any help with how to fit the BIOS error speaker.
