White screen of death causing monitor to not work

i got a random white screen of death today, after rebooting my computer, the monitor does
Not want to connect or register to pc.

First image shows monitor connected, indicator light is orange , second image is monitor unconnected, indicator light green. It’s like the monitor when connected thinks the pc is turned off or in a sleep mode but it is not.

    Any ideas?

g’day and welcome to the forums.

have you checked the dumb stuff first.
like cable from monitor to graphics port on PC is securely connected?
    restarted the monitor?
turn off the PC, remove the power cable from the wall, turn the PC on to discharge any residual current, plug the cable back in and turn PC on.
try another cable, and another port, if possible.

do you use a add-on graphics card or the onboard, integrated card?
if add-on, remove it, clean its circuit board, contacts and motherboard slot with a soft bristled brush.
re-seat the card and see if that all helps.
