i got a random white screen of death today, after rebooting my computer, the monitor does
Not want to connect or register to pc.

restarted the monitor?
turn off the PC, remove the power cable from the wall, turn the PC on to discharge any residual current, plug the cable back in and turn PC on.
try another cable, and another port, if possible.
