HI, I have been having problems with AMD for the past couple of months. I get screen flickers and driver timeouts on a day to day basis mostly when gaming. I have tried almost every solution like updating BIOS, using DDU in safe mode, AMD cleanup utility in safe mode, reinstalling windows, reverting to older drivers and nothing worked. I am curently thinking about switching to Nvidia to rid these problems. Will that actually fix it?
Possible switch to Nvidia from AMD

after switching my hdmi monitor cable to a display port cable (running double displayport now), I haven’t seen any screen flickering or any driver timeouts. It has been like 5 days so far. So far so good for now and will update if it happens again.Originally posted by Bruce@woahits_manny - any update?Comment

maybe it was a dodgy HDMI cable, did you try another?
but if you are working using DP then don’t rock the boat.Comment
