You did not metioned that you had tried that method. Reading the post I get the impression that you can not see it as the 3rd drive.

it does work as a 2nd hd… atm, ive swapped the hd for another hoping for another result, no change…Comment

problem is fixed… went to bios… saw ahci/ata/disabled… switched it to ata… rebooted.. windows 10 went to recovery mode so i switched it back to ahci… but i looked in disk management… and VOILA my 3rd hd is there…thank you…Comment
