All games keep crashing, something might be corrupted (not due to steam or any of the games)

You can try clean installing the graphics driver using DDU:

If the problem remains then check the framerate of the games. Do they drop to a very low number or remain constant.
Try running the games as admin right click on the game’s .exe & choose run as admin.
Ensure you have the KB4598291 update installed as this fixed a bug with Windows crashing while playing games:

I’m not entirely sure how to install DDU. The two links sent me to 1. A zip file which when extracted had no option for setting it up, only uninstalling and 2. Driver Easy.
When I play games they run at a steady framerate then just freeze and never unfreeze. Most of the times they close out on their own, but sometimes I have to force close them with task manager.

I would not recommend using any Driver update software.
Edit: The program isn’t installed & is portable, the .zip contains several files & the DDU uninstaller is for uninstalling the drivers rather than uninstalling the program.

Once I’ve entered safe mode and I’m guessing clicking on the uninstaller will show me how to uninstall my graphics driver, how would I do a clean install? Also how would I know what my graphics driver would look like (Sorry, I might’ve mentioned this before, but I am the opposite of tech savvy)

You would choose to uninstall the nVidia driver, the program does everything for you.
The basic Microsoft driver is used if needed once you restart.
To reinstall the driver you just visit nVidia & search for your driver - you can do this beforehand if you wish - & download it.

You shouldn’t use any “Driver Updater” programs. These kind of programs are completely useless on top of being harmful. If you need to download drivers for a device, download them straight from that computer manufacturer website or the device manufacturer website. This will ensure that you have legitimate and working drivers.

My windows is activated, to double checked I looked up how to manually activate it just in case and used some commands from the command prompt (cscript slmgr.vbs /skms mskms.umich.edu & cscript slmgr.vbs /ato where the ones the website said to use).

I installed Driver Easy after all these problems occurred to maybe see if it was a problem with drivers to see if it could fix it, and a lot of people I asked help from said it was safe to use. However, for it to automatically install the drivers for you, you have to have subscription. I did not know how to manually install drivers, so it just sat there, never being used.

When going to the activation screen on windows setting it shows this

The screenshot states the pc is activated using your organisations activation service. Is this a work PC or a Home PC? If a Home PC then did your company allow you to install one of their licenses?
I’ve tried several driver install programs as my laptop manufacturer doesn’t have any newer drivers since 2016, I mainly use Microsoft drivers, Intel & nVidia drivers. Driver Easy is one of the worst for installing incompatible drivers.

I don’t work for any organization or company. This is a personal pc, I knew someone in my old neighborhood who made custom pcs for cheap, he was like 20 years old. I ordered this PC and he said windows was already on it. Also I just downloaded Driver Easy (now uninstalled), but I never actually used it because I realized you needed to pay money for them to install drivers for you and thought the program was kind of useless.

They may have installed a volume license which is illegal for home use. Eventually Microsoft will block the key & you’d have to purchase a new license.
Right click on start & choose powershell with admin & enter: slmgr.vbs /dlv & post the results here.

You can install drivers manually with Driver Easy but it is difficult.

As I suspected the person installed a volume license, chances are everyone who’s purchased a PC from him will have the same key/license. In 167 days it will expire, at this time it will either automatically renew or will stop working.
If Microsoft discover you’re using a volume license on a home machine they’ll block the key, hence why I state is is illegal.

Well then 2 questions now what do I do now and what about the games crashing? My brother also has the same computer ( I already checked he has it as well ) yet his games dont crash, and he even overclocks his pc while I dont.
