Ok so just to be sure a faulty motherboard could cause high CPU temps? Because I assembled the PC, motherboard, gpu, CPU and all the stuff without earthing myself, I even let the PC plugged In one time without earthing myself. Could that have caused damage to my PC and maybe that’s the reason my CPU is so hot? I haven’t bought all the stuff yet so I could return it, so I’m thinking about returning it

Went back to read your 1st post.. This psu is this a white version… 650 W Corsair PSU ? If so this may be the issue.

Ok that’s a bronze psu and the basic as they come.. Can you get you hand on a decent psu to test?

No unfortunately not. Can it be the psu ? I’ve got the corsair tx650m, should I order a rm650x and see if its better?

If you do buy another psu..Make sure it has at least a 5 to 10 year warranty on it. Most of these are the gold standard..

Ok it’s weird because I never had any problems with the psu, I thought it could be the motherboard

Ok can you start the pc in safe mode? Also when you are checking these temps, are you checking them in your bio’s?
