I’m afraid I’m again posting in the wrong forum but I didn’t see one where this clearly fit. Looks like I’ll be going away for a little while during the summer. As all the windows will be closed there won’t be any ventilation in the room where I have my two computers. Is that a problem during the summer with heat in the room? The computers will be plugged in but not up and running. Also have a few USB disks (WD) that won’t be connected but are in the room. Could the heat affect the equipment? Should i Leave fans blowing on them? I’d hate to have to leave the air conditioning running.

you could leave them plugged in but to be sure of protection if there is a power surge or even just the electric company working on the line and mucking with the supply, it’ll be best to unplug them from the wall as suggested.
