    any chance you can get your hands on the necessary parts from a friends, family members, neighbours or work PC? (purely for testing purposes of course!)

    you still have the free potential solution to try first - getting your data backed up and reinstalling Windows from scratch.

    sadly, you have to pick the easiest hurdle to surmount first, new hardware or reload software?
    any chance you can refer me to a video or a guide on how to reload software i think i’m going to try that option first please bruce

      If you really want the best of help with this you need to provide any and all requested information;

      Had you of done the above when asked you would be far better placed to make a decision than you are now, #3 on the list is the most pertinent of required information as what you describe has all the hallmarks of weak or failing PSU.
      been completely honest with you pal didn’t see his message first i saw was bruce and he’s been great help to be honest give him a raise

        OK - let’s get the Speccy report and see if that sheds any light before we blaze forward with a fresh reload.

        get Speccy from here; Speccy - Download Builds

        in Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
        now you can paste (Ctrl+V) that link into a post.

        the only thing Speccy can’t give us is your power supply specs.
        you’ll have to take the side cover of the tower case and note down the details off the sticker that should be on the power transformer box.

          and, even if we don’t end up doing a ‘nuke from space’ reinstall of Windows, you should have a backup of your data anyway.

          so get an external hard drive and copy onto it any folder you think you want to keep.

                it all seems to be working i didn’t even reset it the cpu fan was replaced and it seems to have worked, kind of annoying considering i said i think it’s the cpu fan to begin with but was instantly told by many that won’t be the issue lol

                  I just went back through this thread and must have again missed where you pointed out you thought it was the fan.
                  if it was purely fan related, I would have thought your issue would have presented itself in general PC use, not just with games, even though games would stress the CPU the most.

                  I assume you have played some games for an extended period to stress test it?
