Ill try to make this short. A few days ago i turned my computer on only for it to say no signal on my monitor. I fidgeted with the dvi cord and monitor cord for awhile, i rebooted my pc and eventually the monitor got signal. The next day when i turned my pc on the monitor had no signal again so i tried the same thing as before but nothing was working, after leaving it run for a few hours the screen ‘magically’ came back on, its been fine for 2 days until i had to restart my pc last night. Then the no signal thing happened again but nothing will fix it at all, ive reseated every piece of my computer and now I think its in a reboot cycle, when i turn it on the fans spin for about 20 sec then stops and then spins again.
I have tried rebooting without my gpu in and plugging a vga cord into my mobo, removing ram and rebooting, removing hard drive reboot. My brother whos more computer hardware savvy has done a bios reset? (Removing the mb battery and re placing it)
I can say for sure that my ram, hard drive, monitor and dvi/vga cords are not the issue with no signal. My brother said it could be that my motherboard is fried, or my cpu is. Im not understanding the reboot cycle thing at all, but maybe a power supply issue?
My cpu: AMD Ryzen 5
Gpu: Geforce GTX 1050Ti
Motherboard: ASRock B450 pro4
I really hope i can fix something and not have to replace my mobo or cpu. Any suggestions?
