PC freezing issue

My rig is the following imgur.com/a/sMcf1V6 and here is my story. So i bought this pre build PC everything worked fine for like 5 months and then it started to shut down randomly, so i send it to the tech support because of the warranty and they said its because of the CPU so they replaced him. I got the PC back shuting down stopped but now heres the next problem i’ve been facing since then for like 2 months now i think and even when i send it back again and they replaced the RAM sticks its still happening. Sometimes my PC freezes tottaly where a hard reset is neccesary and because of this im losing slight data out of the sudden system power loss. And here are the following things i tried out to fix the issue but it didint help.
• reinstall windows 10
• reinstall OS completly from windows 10 to windows 8.1
• change power supply cable
• change the socket where the PC is plugged in
• update bios
• test around with power supply high performance/balanced performance
= test around with nvidia gpu power supply options from high performance/optimal power
• unplug cd-rom from psu and motherboard because i thought its because of it
• remove the dust where i can (the pc is really new no real dust could settle that would effect it in such a way)
The freeze happens when i play some game and sometimes even on the normal desktop screen without anything running, i dont even play my games in high graphic settings. HOWEVER the pc does run for like 15 hours everday but the temperatures are normal and the “impact” i cause on him is not even high i just browse the internet via google chrome have some games running sometimes thats it.

Whilst we are waiting for help can you please supply some info about your PC by following the instructions below.

Can you also advise the make and model of your PSU?

Please go HERE and download the portable version of Speccy. Save it to somewhere you can find, locate the file and as it comes as a Zip file use your favorite unzip application to decompress it. Open the newly created folder and double left click Speccy.exe if you have a 32 bit system or Speccy64.exe if yours is 64bit. If you are not sure what your system is click HERE.

Speccy will open and after a short wait will display a summary of your system specs.

[ol]
[li]Click on the file menu.[/li][li]Then click Publish snapshot.[/li][/ol]

A dialogue box will ask you to confirm, select yes.

Another dialogue box will open
[ol]
[li]Click Copy to Clipboard.[/li][li]Then click Close.[/li][/ol]

Now that your link has been copied please paste it into your next post. It should look something like the example below

BTW: once you have finished with speccy and no longer want it removing it is easy because it is a portable app with no install. Simply delete the downloaded file and folder you created when you decompressed it. Gone:thumbsup:

Hi tomaszterka444, Welcome to PCHF!

Have you tried running the computer with just one stick of RAM installed?

Since the computer has integrated graphics, I would take out the NVidia GTX 1050 and see if the computer still freezes in the BIOS using the integrated video chip thats on the CPU.

they most likely will change another part again because no one really can come up with a solution it looks like

Thanks for the update tomaszterka444, you will hopefully have your computer back, fully working and soon, I would give them a call or two and ask them what is keeping them, it doesn’t take that long to diagnose and repair a computer.

In my state, we have lemon laws. (A lemon is a bad piece of hardware - like a car). I believe if it needs fixing 3 or more times, you can request a new computer.

Looks like it is not a law yet.

so they rejected my warranty saying they did performance tests and couldnt identify any issues, they also attached reports with the pc (i think im gonna take pictures of them and upload them for you here)

they also said something about heat issues and to check if my pc isint covered wich is ridiculous because hes been sitting on the table in the same spot
im geting him back on monday 4/06

here is the new speccy http://speccy.piriform.com/results/M...FaPxDdWcb80BjK

PC froze again when playing Overwatch today , stable fps 69, stable temperatures 56 C because the game displays it. Sound in the background stopped comepletly. Pressing the power button did nothing, had to hold it for a hard reset HOWEVER the CD-ROM drive reacted when i pressed the cd button and i opend. I have my gpu connected to the monitor via a HDMI cable but the monitor has a DVi-D adapter. Could it have something to do with audio drivers maybe? Because i have realtek hd audio installed and people say something about the nvidia gtx 1050 having its own hd drivers.

Do you mean that the DVD drive tray opened when the computer was turned off or when the computer had locked up/froze and therefore power still going through the MB.

Based on the following from your reply #3 to which you added by way of an edit the answer would be no.

No drivers are loaded when you are still in the BIOS and the computer freezing while in the BIOS suggests a hardware issue to which one or more items of hardware and a flaky PSU are possible causes.

Would strongly suggest that you try the suggestion made by Evan in his reply #5;

Please note that when using the integrated graphics solution you must both physically remove the add on video card from the MB and uninstall the drivers for the card using DDU graphics device driver removal tool which you can download for free from here

Once you have removed the add on video card and its drivers you should do the following asap;

Change the Windows Power Plan to Balanced, High Performance is a form of overclocking that causes instability and overheating which in turn causes instability.

If not done already, install the drivers for the MB.

Make sure that Windows Defender is enabled, allow Defender to check for updates/do a full scan of the computer.

Fully update Windows.

Post back with an update once all of the above has been done.

The most accurate temperature and voltage readings can only be obtained in the BIOS which is not very helpful as the computer is not under any load, third party monitoring software cannot be relied upon as there are too many variables, they are not 100% accurate and do not detect or report readings for all hardware.
