That is normal behaviour, when the BIOS detects the presence of an add on video card be it working or not the MBs integrated graphics are disabled by default, this can only be changed on certain MBs that have certain CPUs, in your case the i5-3570k CPU has HD 4000 graphics but for this to also work alongside an add on GPU your MB must allow you to set the primary video as Intel integrated + integrated video always enabled. -
Running the computer for a prolonged period using only the MBs video ports will help confirm it but only having your present video card tested elsewhere can confirm it to be 100% bad I`m afraid.Comment

Would still get the add on card tested just so that you can be sure that the PCI-E slots on the MB are ok.Comment

Apologies for the delay…
Got the new psu and now the add on video card
Was almost a disaster as the video card only just fits in the pc but I got it in there lol stupidly though I have the wrong dvi adapter and so I have one perfectly working screen but am waiting on the adapter to test both though I suspect given the lack of issues with one display that it should be able to handle it
So hopefully this saga has ended and I can thank you all for all the help though I will confirm likely the end of the week once I get the adapterComment
