    [HEADING=2]Hub One as a modem only[/HEADING]
    Just upgrading to FTTC from ADSL and due to receive a Hub One. Currently I’m very happy with my TP-Link router ,particularly the wireless coverage, and it has dual WAN/LAN port,so is it possible to use the Hub One as a modem only if the wireless coverage is not as good?

      Try telling this to SWMBO.???. She doesn’t like where it is at the min, never mind having 2 of them… My main question was though why did the tplink not like the apps on the sky boxes? but was ok with the same apps on other devices… all connected via ethernet. Thoroughly weird ???

        Have you tried the 2.4Ghz connection on the Sky boxes?
        We only have SkyQ which connects via Wi-Fi on that band.

          I haven’t to be honest… I’ve got 2.4 turned off on both boxes, as main connected via ethernet. I’m not keen on wireless for streaming don’t feel it’s reliable enough…
          Appreciate everyone’s time on this, but I think I’ll stick with the hub1 until after Christmas as nd then get a brand new DSL router, not secondhand…

            If a device requires 2.4Ghz then by turning it off those devices won’t connect.
            We stream Netflix on the SkyQ with no problems. Also via iPad. Although we have Virginmedia 135mbps speed.
