Does anyone know why do I keep see HIDDEN NETWORK on my wifi even after I disconnect all my routers and internet? I keep see that from my computer and I donβt know where it is coming from. No one lives around me because I am the only one living in the area.

something in your region is pumping out a wireless signal that your wireless adapter is picking up.
some βsmartβ device in your house, or in your neighbourhood.
for example, Iβve setup omni-directional roof antennas between a house and a shed.
they advertise a signal range of 7klms! -
Thanks for responding. But it looks like it is from my router. If I connect the router and use my ssid and password, the internet get connected but when I disconnect the router it doesnβt get connected. It is really strange to see that βHIDDEN NETWORKβ even after I disconnect my router.Originally posted by Brucesomething in your region is pumping out a wireless signal that your wireless adapter is picking up.

that hidden network is close, as indicated by the signal strength.
if you turn off all your wireless devices (modem, router, etc) and still see the hidden network SSID then you either still have a wireless device transmitting, or that network isnβt coming from a source that you control.Comment

that new hidden network is Open, so doesnβt need any password to join.
if you canβt, it must be MAC restricted.
the βbridgeβ you speak of, does it have an ethernet port, if so, connect using that, then youβll get an IP address, can work out the gateway address, and login on using that from a browser to configure the bridge and remove that network.Comment
