Are you asking how to connect another router to your existing one and use it as an access point?

What error messages are you getting?
Have you tried changing the security type and channel?
Do the devices in question have any issues connecting to other networks?

What security is set for the modem?
      WPA
      WPA2
      WEP

You may also want to check and see if the current system is configured to only accept specific MAC and or IP address.
