No ethernet connection

I just built a new pc and the ethernet ports won’t work and my dad and I have tested all of the cables and ports, they came out positive, but the pc doesn’t connect to the internet. How can I fix this without a wireless card?

Hello Ryan, can you tell us what O/S you are using, and if you have installed the drivers for your chipset and network?

Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop.
Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When the program opens select the following boxes:

Report IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP Configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

MiniToolBox will open a file on completion and also create it on the desktop. Can you please Copy and paste the contents of that file in your next post?
